Louder than words

We met shortly before COVID. We talked and talked. You wanted to “play it by ear”, “go with the flow”….then we talked and talked, everyday. Then COVID. You promised me the world - dinner, going on vacation together. Words and no actions.

Then I lost one of my parents to COVID, another to depression. Then you left. I always say “action speaks louder than words” and I thanked you for showing me your true self with your actions.
