After 5 years

During lockdown a guy came back into my life that had tried to date me for the past 5 years. We talked all day and night and he was keen to meet. I waited for the rules to ease and we went on the cutest picnic date ever. We fell for each other instantly and saw each other the very next day. We continued to date for the next few months, he told me he loved me and I loved him back. Then one day said he wasnt ready for a relationship. 
I am now left heart broken as he was perfect
