Clicked

I’d spent a year or so on Tinder prior to lockdown with nothing to show for it. Finally met a guy on the app that I clicked with a month before lockdown hit. I went home to London to spend lockdown with my family, and with him in the Midlands, I’d resigned myself to the thought that the distance was going to make any progression impossible and that I should give up. Since the start of lockdown, we spoke constantly from the moment we both woke up to when we’d drop off to sleep. When restrictions eased enough for me to go back to my university house we made things official, and he’s made me the happiest I’ve ever been.
