Greatest love
The best love story of the whole pandemic has to be me and my two best friends. We’ve seen each other together once. But we have spoken every single day without fail (thank the technology gods for WhatsApp). We have known each other 12/13 years, and been through everything together. However, during this pandemic there have been some challenging and life changing times for us all.
One of them moved to Holland to be with her boyfriend, then got stuck back in the UK. The other got married and had baby number 3. I got the job of my dreams. So despite the pandemic, big things have happened to us.
Even with those big, life changing events, we have been with each other every step of the way throughout this pandemic including the small things - every day over the past 9 months and I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve supporting each other through emotional breakdowns (including homeschooling incidents, being stuck in a country without the love of your life, near panic attacks, mass diarrhoea episodes, taxis across the country to get away from boyfriends and the worst hangovers ever - yep they’ve been broad and I could write a book about them) and we are stronger than ever.
I love them so very, very much. And they will be my greatest love story of all time, forever.
