2 months v 2 years

I’d known him most of my life and we always knew there was lingering feelings although unspoken. He was in the army and I was in a long term relationship. 2 weeks into lockdown I left my ex, he came home on leave. We would text and call and FaceTime, and all of a sudden, what was a secret for so long turned into what I’d always wanted.
