When you know, you know

I became single during the first lockdown in march 2020. We had been living together for almost a year, we got on well but it just wasn’t enough. Being locked down together showed me how different we were- I work in healthcare, coming home tired and stressed & he was happily furloughed, boasting about all the time he had to cook and sleep in. It was infuriating & I felt more alone and unsupported than ever before. He left & I felt like I could breathe again. I later found he was too happily furloughed as he was secretly meeting with a married woman in the park whilst I was working 12 hour days in the operating theatre.
Fastforward to second lockdown & I had honestly given up on love. I anxiously joined hinge & immediately matched with a local guy. He was the only person I spoke to and we clicked immediately. We met as soon as pubs opened in July & fast forward to the third lockdown we have been living together since October! I can’t believe how much things have changed since the miserable first lockdown & I honestly couldn’t be happier. Sometimes when you know, you just know!
in a worldwide pandemic I never thought I could fall in love again!
