Intensive care

As an ICU nurse, the covid pandemic was harrowing and tested me in ways I never knew possible. Little did I know my long term boyfriend who I thought to be the love of my life would break up with me out of the blue in February 2021, and this would be the biggest challenge of all - harder than any pandemic, lockdown or grief I'd experienced in the year gone past. My heart is still broken but now I know how strong I am and I have hope for a new love story someday in the future.
