The hot guy
I met a hot guy on bumble in February. We went on a few whirlwind dates, we kissed in the front of his work van during a hail storm, it was a lot of fun and then it tapered out. I needed a new boiler and I put a shout out on Facebook asking for advice. He was my friend on Facebook and also happened to be a plumber, he contacted me and suggested that he could do it. He arrived at my house on a week night chewing some gum and still in his work gear. We flirted, he gave me a great quote and we ended up kissing. He returned a week later and we shared some chilli and nachos and he stayed the night. The next morning I arrived at work and discovered that I would be packing up at the end of the day with no idea of when I would be returning to work and a week later we were into lockdown.
We would message occasionally but it fizzled out again. Then after about three months he returned to fit my boiler. We flirted a lot but kept a distance from each other. He promised to return to fit some radiators.
Three months later, fast forward to the beginning of September and he returns to fit the radiators. There is a lot of sexual tension and we end up kissing on the sofa and then we go up stairs and rip each other’s clothes off.
He has forgotten a part for the radiator and has to return on the Friday to complete the job. This time he devours me on the Chesterfield Armchair in my front room.
This is the end of my love story.
