You Bought Me Snacks

You bought me snacks,
I made you laugh,
You let me take soaks in your fancy bath.

You’d only wear crop tops,
I’d only wear black,
I’m hoping we’ve not gone too far to go back.

I called you Flaps,
You’d call me Sharkey,
No one else got our jokes and malarkey.

Different to look at,
But the same at heart,
Lockdown made me realise I hate being apart.

Too stubborn to talk,
Our thoughts misconstrued,
I suggest we call time on this ridiculous feud.
