Waiting

We were mainly a long distance relationship but we went to college together before lockdown, but lockdown drove us apart. 
Romantic connection became electronic which became craving physical connection and craving him every time I had a spare thought. 

We still live with the uncertainty of when we will next see each other again after every time we meet up. We’ve met twice since lockdown and every moment gives me strength.

We spent our 1 year anniversary apart and it's now almost a year and a half. I dream of the day I can be by your side every day.
