One year

My boyfriend and I started talking in the first lockdown last year. We clicked. Talked all day and face-timed all night. Once restrictions eased we met. It had felt like we'd known each other for years. We spent most of summer together and even went on holiday. I'd never met someone who I felt so happy around and so at peace with. Someone who instantly became my best friend and someone I loved deeply. Our 1 year is coming up and it's been the happiest year of my life, filled with excitement and amazing memories. Even though we've all suffered through covid, I'm thankful I got to meet my soulmate because of it.
