Wine drunk

We met in December, chatted occasionally on insta every couple of weeks . His girlfriend at the time was nasty and manipulative , but neither of us could do anything to stop her or get her to change, so it was a messy breakup for them and a horrible friend-breakup for me. 6 months down the line, I get a text from him asking if i wanted to come to a socially distant gig his band were playing. He was somebody I’d put in my “bubble” because all my friends were away on holiday - we went back to his house bc it was his birthday, and we’re dancing in the kitchen, wine drunk with all of his friends , and it was like the world stopped for a moment - and we locked eyes and kissed . At first i was convinced it was just a drunk mistake - but i woke up thinking about it the next day and didn’t regret it. We’ve been dating for nearly a month now and i’ve never been happier
