Fit together

After my long term marriage turned into 11 years of abusive controlling hell, I finally separated in March 2020. However like many couples we elected to remain under the same roof and live separate lives. Both my ex and I started dating where possible in the lockdown gaps and after a couple of false starts I have truly found my match. I met a lovely girl in November 2020 and we dated a few times when allowed and have since got really really close through video chats most nights, discovering we like the same food, comedy and love of laughter. We've even been able to spend some time together on long walks. It's early days but I am really hopeful, we just seem to fit together so well. Who knew this could happen in the most date resistant time in recent history! I think it's made it better though, because it shows us both how much we are suited to one another. Roll on Easter!
