Game over

We started talking 2 months ago. At first I was unsure much would come of it, especially as he was working so much. Things changed when he became furloughed, he gave me more time and we got on really well. He was showing me everything I wanted in a partner and more. We planned dates for after lockdown and talked for hours on end. Recently, his effort dipped. He said he was demotivated from the new lockdown and staying away from social media which I thought was fair enough....my messages were being left undelivered for much longer than usual but he was still watching my ig stories....he said he wanted to be productive and when I'd ask what he did that day, he said gaming or watching tv....he's been leaving me on Read, even after making sure my messages were easy to respond to. Giving up now. I'm done giving my energy when he's clearly dropping off....if anything is gonna come of this, it'll be because he grew up and gave me the energy he was once giving me. I hope it's not too late but have accepted the end.
