Luminous

Myself and my boyfriend Alex moved in to our first home together on the 21st of March, full lockdown measures were announced 2 days later. We had 2 full months off work together and it was a dream!! Getting to spend unlimited amounts of time with someone that you have an unmatched electric connection with was a treat - something we’ll never get again. 
We did absolutely everything: walked, got drunk, cooked, baked, read, did puzzles, danced, got drunk again, painted walls, more walking, sanded furniture etc etc. 
We truly got to see every facet of each other’s personality - the good the bad and the ugly and it made us fall even more deeply in love. 
During a time when we were encouraged to distance and isolate, the value of human connection has never been so great. This time has illuminated the importance of the beautiful free simplicities of life and will act as a lasting reminder to take time to reflect on how lucky we are and to remain grateful every day.
