My missing piece
We first started messaging and speaking on the phone in late October (and we spoke a lot!). In December, we were able to meet for the first time, following lockdown restrictions being lifted briefly.
When we met, I instantly had a warm feeling inside and I just didn’t want the day to end. We met again 3 days later, which was purely a last-minute decision but one I really enjoyed. Since then, we’ve met up outside for walks nearly every week – each week getting better and better.
However, it wasn’t all plain sailing, we did go through a phase of not knowing what each other were thinking, but luckily, we overcame our shyness and opened up. This really brought us together and allowed us to build trust and a strong relationship.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been spending more time together, but time flies by so quickly. I’m sad when it’s time to say our byes for the day – I miss her instantly after we depart.
Not a day goes without me thinking of her. She’s beautiful, caring and fun to be around! Looking ahead, we’re excited for lockdown to end, so we can spend time together more freely, dine together in restaurants, go on adventures together and travel far and wide together.
She’s like the missing piece of the puzzle that I struggled to find for so long. I was convinced there was someone out there – all is clear now that you are here.
