He wowed her with his self confidence. Finally, a kind man who knew and accepted himself. For months she enjoyed being with him.

Yet, how could she be so silly as to think life-drawing whilst in a relationship was okay? As he said, her being exposed to nudity undoubtedly questioned her loyalty and evidenced her desire for other men. He told her to stop and that she was undermining his mental health. Whilst on the subject he remembered to ban her too from watching porn.

To be with him she had to do as she was told. Non compliance? Well he told her it was over and blocked her straight away. But did this really matter, she would have ended things anyway...wouldn’t she?

Now she sees more clearly. His confidence saturated in insecurity. His kindness, to be earned. Pure trickery. As she lies in bed alone she is sure ‘he is not the one for me’.
