On a whim

I wasn't looking for anything serious - I struggle to let people in and to commit. We had matched and exchanged a few messages but I wasn't really that interested. I asked if he was free that evening on a whim, and we clicked like I have never clicked with anyone before. Our date almost outran the trains and we soon became inseparable. If we aren't together we're texting or calling. I always thought it was bullshit that the whole world could disappear when you're with *that* person but it happened. He has broken down my barriers and melted my icy core. We've hit bumps along the way which have thankfully only made us stronger. Now we are in a Tier 2 relationship, meeting in the freezing cold, wind and rain. And it's worth every second. Not bad for two commitmentphobes hey? Now I'm working up the courage to tell him I love him...
