Firsts

I downloaded Tinder one evening at a socially distanced birthday party. I swiped right on this guy and right from the start we hit it off, talking all day and sending memes into the small hours. On our first date we kissed in a park just 3 days after meeting on Tinder. We never allowed ourselves to fall in love as I was moving to another country in 2 months. We would meet on Saturday evenings for long drives until late at night. We took our each other’s virginities and it felt like were going to be together forever. Unfortunately the pressure of me moving means that it faded out. No bad blood, we just realised that it wasn’t going to work with the distance. I wish we could go back to the start as what we had was magical.
