Smiling

We met online at the end of February. Texted back and forth then lockdown hit. I suggested a drink in three weeks time, never imagining it would be May before we finally met. When we did we went for socially distanced walk. We lasted five minutes before we held hands and ended the date two hours later with a kiss. Neither of us stopped smiling. Things have gone from strength to strength, no doubt helped by nearly three months of texts and calls meaning we really got to know each other before meeting. I love him. He’s wonderful.
