Warm Feelings

You surprised me with your original story. Looking back at where we were then, I’m amazed (but not surprised) at how far we have come and the depth we have in our relationship today.

You wrote that we were excited for lockdown to end so that we could,

“…spend time together more freely, dine together in restaurants, go on adventures together and travel far and wide together.”.

Just over 1 year and 6 months on from our first exchange, that “warm feeling” is stronger and we’ve experienced all of those things and a lot more. 

All of the trips away, Saturday adventures, the ups and downs of being in a tiny flat together (as well as from the reason for being there!), and so many games of FIFA with my brother and cups of ‘green’ tea with your family, than I would’ve ever thought. 

Thank you for the love, respect and support you show me every single day, and the trust you allow me to place in you. I am so grateful for the person you are and the person you encourage me to be - I’m looking forward to the next phase for us and all of our adventures yet to come.
