Boss: Part 2

On the last day in the office in March 2020 I took my boss out for a drink and told him I really liked him, he replied “I was dreaming you would say this”. We quickly realised we were meant for each other (over many video calls!) and had found true love. He resigned after the summer, which made things less awkward at work! A week before Christmas we moved in to the house we bought together, fast forward to August 2021 and we just got engaged! When you know, you know (even if he’s your boss). I couldn’t be happier and despite being divorced, I’ve never given up on love.
