Fuckboys are evolving

At the start of lockdown 3.0 I got chatting to a guy from my past after he’d got back in touch. We hadn’t seen each other in almost 8 years but the conversation just flowed (catching up and some obvious flirting).

I couldn’t decide whether it was going to be any more than ‘just sex’ (post lockdown) which I would have been fine with, but the longer it went on the more things he said that convinced me he felt otherwise... providing A LOT of compliments, suggestions of dates, saying he couldn’t wait to go for a drink, planning restaurants to try. 

I still had my guard up so this was all initiated by him & eventually after 4 weeks we talked about going on a walk (again, his suggestion).

I dropped my guard and on Thursday we planned a walk for Monday but I then didn’t hear from him after Friday. Full on ghost mode.

Needless to say, the walk didn’t happen. 

Did not see that one coming. Their games are evolving, watch out ladies.
