Life’s too short

I had feelings for a colleague and had them for nearly 2 years. Lockdown and working together made me realise that I was actually in love with him and these feelings weren’t going anywhere. I tried and tried and tried to fight the feelings but in the end when he told me he felt the same I wish I had said sooner and one thing it made me realise was that life’s too short to hold back on how you feel. It’s a lot more complicated but I’m hoping that somehow we will end up together.
